Red Carnation Hotels

Banish the winter blues by looking ahead to one of the greatest British sporting events of the year: the Wimbledon tennis championship. Taking place from 1st-14th July 2019, it’s set to be a memorable year for this celebrated tournament, with British tennis star Andy Murray announcing plans to retire after the 2019 championship. Fortunately, guests of Red Carnation Hotels won’t miss any of the action, thanks to an exclusive range of Wimbledon packages available at our London properties.

Once again, we’re delighted to partner with Wimbledon Debentures to offer our guests a truly special Wimbledon experience this summer. Five of our London hotels are offering tennis fans an exclusive package that includes Centre Court Debentures tickets, complete with access to the Centre Court Debenture Lounge in addition to a stay in one of the hotel’s sumptuous rooms or suites.

A cherished part of British history, the Wimbledon tennis tournament dates back to the 1870s, when the first championships took place. Today, over 473,00 people attend Wimbledon each year, with around 26 million people watching the championship play out on TV. A highlight of the summer season for many sports fans, during the two-week tournament, around 21,917 bottles of Champagne and over 166,000 portions of strawberries and cream are consumed.

Every one of our Wimbledon packages is individually tailored to each hotel, promising guests a uniquely local experience. Expect to witness this year’s most unmissable sporting moments from some of the best seats in the house, while savouring the electric atmosphere of the Wimbledon fortnight in London. Enjoy a chauffeur driven transfer to the All England Club, where you’ll step out at the Debenture car park, head to the Debenture lounge and onwards to your reserved seats on Centre Court to watch the action unfold.

After an unforgettable day watching the world’s best tennis players battle it out, you’ll return to the hotel, where plenty more indulgences await. With Wimbledon-themed celebrations taking place at each of our properties, guests can enjoy special treats such as a chilled bottle of Lanson Champagne, the official Champagne of Wimbledon, served with the classic Wimbledon snack of strawberries and cream, as well a delectable traditional British Afternoon Tea for two and thoughtful Wimbledon-themed turndown gifts.
