Event: Don Giovanni at the London Coliseum
Date: November 6th to December 3rd
Some of the leading lights in the theatre world have combined to put on a performance of an opera scored by Mozart.
Director Rufus Norris and set designer Ian MacNeil have worked together on Don Giovanni, which begins at the London Coliseum on November 6th.
According to the website of the English National Orchestra - which is based at the venue - the opera features "Mozart's most darkly seductive score".
Telling the tale of a sex-crazed nobleman, played by Iain Paterson, Don Giovanni also stars Rebecca Evans and Sarah Tynan - who play two of Don Giovanni's conquests- and is conducted by young Ukrainian Kirill Karabits.
Those staying at luxury London hotel The 41 who choose to take in one of the ten performances will be among the first in the capital to see Mr Karabits's work on an opera, as the show marks the London operatic debut for the man who is currently principal conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
Both Mr Morris and Mr MacNeil have won numerous awards for their work in theatre, with Mr Norris having directed Cabaret and Festen among others and Mr MacNeil winning two Oliviers and a Tony for his work on set design.
Guests who book the Get More From Your Stay package at The 41 will receive a full English breakfast each morning along with one of a range of complimentary gifts, including a bottle of Laurent Perrier to enjoy on arrival or a romantic turndown, complete with rose petals, candles and massage oils.
