For the last couple of years, the Eurostar platforms at Waterloo Station have not seen much action.

The platforms will be transformed into a purpose-built theatre space for a special staging of Edith Nesbitt's famous play The Railway Children.

After two critically-acclaimed summer runs at the National Railway Museum in York, Mike Kenny's production will take over south London for over two months.

Audiences will join Peter, Bobbie and Phyllis as they fight to survive following the false imprisonment of their father.
