There is no better city than London in which to enjoy a night at the theatre.
The glitz and glamour of the West End is famous around the world, drawing millions of visitors each year.
In 2001, a very special event took place across the capital which turned it into a giant stage.
Some of the city's most prestigious theatres held various groundbreaking plays, productions and installations from pioneering artists from across the globe in the LIFT festival.
In 2010, the event is back, promising more surprising, challenging and entertaining performances from a variety of artists.
Highlights include Dries Verhoeven's Life Streaming - which sees the artist explore the complexities of international aid – and Food Court from Australian company Back to Back Theatre.
Shows and events will take place across the capital, giving theatre fans a glimpse of the stars of the future.
After taking in a performance, visitors can head to the luxury London hotel the 41, where they can sip Laurent Perrier courtesy of the Get More From Your Stay package.
Those who prefer can substitute the Champagne for a romantic turndown, a three-course table d'hote dinner or a late checkout until 18:00 GMT.
