A common theme in the works of William Shakespeare is that the world needs rogues, just as it needs kings.
With that in mind, the 2010 theatre season at the Globe will be all about how the warmth and virtue of rogues is needed to counterbalance the greed and violence of kings - and how the strength of kings is needed to counteract the uncertainty of rogues.
For performing arts lovers staying at the luxury London hotel the 41, it means a feast of Shakespeare's best works, beginning with the ever-popular Macbeth.
Highlights include the two parts of Henry IV, considered by many to be some of the playwright's most accomplished writings, and the Merry Wives of Windsor, which was a big hit with theatre fans in 2008.
