The music of Easter will come alive at the Southbank Centre across the holy weekend this year, when award-winning choir The Sixteen stage a number of performances.
From April 3rd to 5th, the group will take to the stage each day with a different set of music, conducted by Harry Christophers.
On April 3rd the group will cover the Gothic Revolution, including works by Leonin Philip the Chancellor, Peter Abelard and Perotin.
The Tudors will be covered on Easter Sunday, including William Byrd, Philippe de Monte and Thomas Tallis. Meanwhile, April 5th will see an Italian theme, featuring the works of Palestrina and Josquin des Prez.
Ticket costs vary from £8 to £25 depending on the location of seats, while concessions get 50 per cent off. Premiums seats are also bookable for £33.
