What's on in London this weekend?

Love is in the air this weekend and people staying at luxury London hotel 41 will not be disappointed by what the city has to offer. The capital will be full of romancing couples jetting from one event to another and here are just a few which are on offer.

Sadler's Well has two events lined up which are perfect for those looking for a good night out. First up is the Flamenco Festival, which is running from February 13th to 27th and showcases the best of Spain's talent. Also on this weekend is the Nuevo Ballet Espanol, from February 13th to 15th. The company is pioneering new trends in its home country of Spain and is now setting the stage alight with the dramatic dances at Sadler's Well.

Continuing in the theme of passion, the London Coliseum is hosting the Elixir of Love from February 12th to March 23rd. The English National Opera production is directed by Jonathan Miller, moving the original play's locations of the 19th century to a small town in 1950. The romantic comedy style show will feature tenor John Tessier, Andrew Shore and Spanish conductor Pablo Heras-Casado.

Sticking with the music theme, the Soutbank Centre is hosting its Valentine's Day concert, which features the youngest ever winner of BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2002, Jennifer Pike, in the Royal Festival Hall. The violinist will be accompanied by the Philharmonia Orchestra, with music including the overture to the ballet of Romeo and Juliet.

Moving away from music, lovers can take a trip to the National Gallery and get a special Valentine's tour of the building. It begins at 16:00 GMT on February 14th, focusing on the theme of love and romance. Organisers will point out the biblical couples and mythical lovers in the paintings in the free tour.
