Event: Cinderella
Date: December 5th until January 24th
Everybody knows the story of Cinderella, the classic rags-to-riches tale, but a new version is coming to the Unicorn Theatre in December.
Written by Phil Potter, who wowed theatre fans with The Flying Machine last year, this adaptation adds quirky twists and modern touches to the famous fairytale.
The family business, which is a floating retirement home for elderly magicians, is in dire trouble and Cinderella is the one who is expected to rescue it whenever things go wrong.
However, she cannot help thinking that life has more to offer her than the mundanity she is living through.
When the royal palace announces a ball to find the young prince a wife, Cinderella's eyes light up but, she finds herself surrounded by the elderly residents of the retirement home.
Who is going to work the magic she needs to get her into the arms of the charming prince?
Families staying at the luxury London hotel the 41 can find out by making the short 15-minute journey to the Unicorn for a great evening's entertainment.
Afterwards, guests can return to the hotel and take advantage of the Kids Go Free! package.
Youngsters up to the age of 12 stay and eat for free when sharing a room with their parents.
While mum and dad relax, the kids will be kept more than happy by the unlimited in-room movies and games console available.
