Christmas Past at the Geffrye Museum
Event: Christmas Past - 400 Years of Seasonal Traditions in English Homes

With a visit to the Geffrye museum, guests at the luxury Londn hotel the 41 can capture the magic of the festive period by taking in the Christmas Past exhibition.
Every year, the museum's period rooms are transformed by authentic Christmas decorations to evoke the rich and colourful traditions of festive periods gone by.
As well as enjoying the stunning beauty of the rooms, visitors can look forward to lots of food, while there will also be decorations and more available at the gift shop.
There will be various performances and events throughout the Christmas period, including shows from Hackney's over-55's gospel choir, the Claudia Jones Singers, while the Hoxton Singers will also fill the air with their own festive songs.
The yuletide fun need not stop at the Geffrye Museum once the day is done.
After making the 20-minute journey back to the 41, guests can enjoy the delights of the Get More From Your Stay package.
These include a choice from a bottle of Laurent Perrier champagne, a romantic turndown including chocolate-dipped strawberries, rose petals and massage oils, a three-course table d'hote dinner for two and a late checkout until 18:00 GMT.
