Event: Bern: Ballet - Wuthering Heights
Date: May 27th to the 30th
Cathy Marston will bring the Bern Ballet to London next month to perform her adaptation of a classic story which is sure to have theatre fans flocking through the Royal Opera House doors.
Wuthering Heights is the only novel Emily Bronte wrote and its impact and longevity have stood the test of time better than most other texts written in the 1800s.
The ballet focuses on the passionate affair between Cathy and Heathcliffe and how their fiery relationship continues beyond death, with their love transcending time.
Many need no introduction to this story but Cathy Marston is famous for adding her own twist to classic pieces of writing, with this production featuring a specially-commissioned score from Dave Maric, which he will perform alongside Swiss double bass-player Mich Gerber.
Let the Bern Ballet take your breath away with itselegance and grace and then let the luxury London hotel the 41 provide somewhere to get it back again.
With the Suite Dreams package, couples can enjoy a three-course table d'hote dinner, chocolate-dipped strawberries and a bottle of Veuve Cliquot.
