Westminster Abbey will be engulfed in an amazing blanket of colours in early May, with hundreds of radiant flowers as far as the eye can see.

One of the glorious things about the spring and summer months is the way nature is in full bloom, wowing people with their majestic arrangements of colour and smell.

The Festival of Flowers at Westminster Abbey will celebrate the 50th anniversary year of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies with some jaw-dropping collections of plants and flowers.

More than 300 arrangers representing areas and clubs across the country will be in attendance, staging more than 100 fantastic exhibits.

As well as seasoned professionals, there will be junior members making contributions to show their talent and skills.
