One play which will be particularly interesting is Dancing at Lughansa, Brian Friel's Olivier-award winning piece about bittersweet life in rural Ireland in the 1930s.

It was a period where the country was on the brink of industrialisation and the production focuses on five sisters and how love and opportunity slip through each of their grasps.

The cast includes former singer Andrea Corr, as well as Nick Cusack and Susan Lynch, who deliver the story with the dark humour and raw energy which makes it such a powerful and enjoyable piece.
