Fashion Fabulous at the Design Museum

Is your child the next Giorgio Armani, Donatella Versace or Donna Karan?

Well if they are, then the place they need to be is the London Design Centre, where between February 1st and the 22nd, young fashionistas from up and down the country will come armed with their felt-tips and sketch pads ready to show their creative skills.

Inspired by the Hussain Chalayan exhibition taking place from January 22nd, the event is the chance for the next Vivienne Westwood to create their own fashion illustrations, mini garments and mannequins.

Mums can enjoy some style of their own by booking a suite at the luxury London hotel the 41 and choosing the Kate Starkey Couture package, which includes a custom-made suit and two bespoke ladies shirts plus much more.

Once your child has created all they can, a mini-catwalk display of the items will take place, giving budding fashionistas a stage on which to display the fruits of their creative minds.

Each garment will also be photographed and souvenir images will be emailed to each participant, providing a reminder of a wonderful family experience.
