Event: Frank Kiely: Glories of the Past, Citadel of the Future
Date: January 16th until February 2nd
Visitors to London can see prints and drawings of some of the capital's most iconic landmarks at the Ferreira Projects in January, which will host the latest exhibitions from artist Frank Kiely.
Glories of The Past, Citadel of the Future will feature watercolour images of familiar places in and around the Shoreditch and City areas.
Kiely is famous for his sketches and drawings, and this exhibition will give fans and newcomers the chance to see the artist express his creative talents in a new medium.
One highlight of the display will be an interactive cityscape picture based on the landscape of the Shoreditch district, made in a bid to create dialogue with members of the local community.
The artist has previously said regeneration is a topic which is of particular interest for him and he will continue to document changes to London in his work.
People from outside the capital can take the opportunity to see it through Kiely's eyes and witness how the city is changing.
They can get to know the city more by booking a suite at the luxury London hotel the 41 and taking advantage of the Get More From Your Stay package.
Included in the deal is a bottle of Veuve Cliquot, £50 worth of vouchers for Harrods, a three-course table d'hote meal and tickets to the London Eye.
