The Last Genie at the Royal Opera House

Event: The Last Genie
Date: December 18th until December 21st

Will Tuckett's Thief of Baghdad, which is on at the Royal Opera House between December 10th and January 3rd, will tell the story of three boys who are transported to another land after escaping war-torn London.

They find themselves in a world of fantasy and magic and encounter a genie who grants them three wishes.

While the above production sees the children enjoy having the ability to ask for anything they like, the Last Genie takes things in a different direction.

It has been created in response to the Thief of Baghdad and again sees three youngsters try and escape the death and destruction of a warzone by hiding in a theatre.

They are unsure as to whether they should wait for their parents or brave the conflict on their own.

All of a sudden, Zebarack the genie appears and grants them three wishes.

However, one of the wishes goes wrong and the boys must show the power needed to change the world already flows in us.

After the production, visitors can take a magic carpet ride of their own and enjoy a suite at the luxury London hotel the 41.

Those with children can opt for the Kids Weekend package, which includes child-size bathrobes and slippers, a tour of the hotel, a welcome pack with games along with a packed lunch each day.
