However, those looking for a taste of the past as well as the present can combine their stay with a visit to the Institute of Contemporary Arts for Roberto Cuoghi's Suillakku exhibition.
Visitors will be transported back to Mesopotamia in the sixth century BC, when the Assyrian empire was crumbling and the city of Ninevah was plundered by its enemies.
Cuoghi spent two-years submerged in the language and culture of the Assyrians and the result of his labour is a sound installation designed to give attendees the feeling of being surrounded by hundreds of people at a time of mass suffering.
A range of mediums such as video, animation, painting, drawing and sound have been employed by the artist to transport visitors back in time.
