Event: Royal Institute of Oil Painters Exhibition
Date: October 29th until November 9th
The Royal Institute of Oil Painters has been in existence since 1882 and the body continues to keep alive an art form that some say is dying.
Next month the group will present its annual exhibition of diverse and stimulating pictures including pieces from the Royal Academican Donald Hamilton Fraser, who is this year's invited artist.
There are several highlights at the event, such as the Winsor and Newton under-35 Oil Painting Awards and the June Mendoza Portrait Draw.
After being surrounded by beautiful paintings presented in a traditional way, visitors can continue the experience with a suite at the luxury London hotel the 41.
The decorative and artistic theme will follow guests from the exhibition to the hotel, and by taking advantage of the Get More From Your Stay package couples can enjoy a bottle of Veuve Cliquot and a three-course table d'hote dinner for two.
Alternatively, couples celebrating a special occasion may prefer the Romantically package with a luxurious room together with a full English breakfast and a red rose on arrival.
