Guests enjoying family breaks at luxury London hotel the 41 can choose to entertain their young ones with a trip to the Unicorn Theatre for Children this autumn.
From September 24th until October 12th 2008, the story will be told of Pero, an Italian baker who is in love with the girl who lives next door to him, but who is too bashful to admit his feelings.
However, Pero must act swiftly if he is to woo Colombina, after a charming and debonair painter by the name of Paletino appears on the scene and wins Colombina's affection.
Guests travelling to luxury London hotel the 41 on family breaks could combine a trip to see Pero with the hotel's Kids Weekend package.
Kids Weekend provides travellers with family sized accommodation, a tour of the hotel, a creative children's menu, treats in the evening as well as a welcome pack for children and much more.
Pero is perfect for children aged over six years old and families are sure to enjoy the quirky puppetry and live operatic music as the age old story of whether Colombina will fall for Paletino and his "easy charms" or whether she will realise that Pero has loved her all along is told.
Performed by Dutch company Speeltheatre - Pero is enjoying its UK premiere after a world tour which saw it win the Victor Award for Best Performance of the year in Tampa, Florida.
