Liberty 2008

Event: Liberty 2008 at Trafalgar Square
Date: August 30th 2008

This summer, those taking family breaks at the 41 can enjoy a one-day festival taking place in London's Trafalgar Square.

Promoting the rights and celebrating the talents of deaf and disabled people, Liberty 2008 will be held on August 10th 2008 and will showcase the diverse talents of a number of disabled artists and performers.

From art and dramatic street theatre to comedy and cabaret, circus performers and more will all be among the great spectacles occurring in the square to provide entertainment to bystanders.

Liberty 2007 was a resounding success, featuring seven unique areas including the aerial and circus zone full of acrobatic performers, the music and dance zone which featured DJ Void and Blind Bling.

The kids zone is ideal for those on family breaks, with last year's offering including garden parties and magical workshops.

Children can make flowers, puppets and masks or even have a go themselves on the acrobatic equipment in the aerial zone.
