The line-up for this year's Sci-Fi-London Film Festival has now been announced, which should be exciting news to fans of the genre who are staying at luxury London hotel the 41 this spring.

Next month from April 30th until May 4th 2008, the festival dedicated to science fiction and fantasy films is back in the capital.

The five-day film festival was originally established seven years ago by Louis Savy to overcome "popular misconceptions" of the genre.

Also, according to Mr Savy, in order to provide a platform for low-budget, interesting and foreign sci-fi films that are hard to get hold of or unlikely to be screened in the UK.

Taking place at the Apollo West End Cinema in Westminster, the film festival prides itself on being one of the friendliest events around.

Regularly attracting strong audiences, the festival claims to be a leader in its field and to be helping to develop London's film festival sector.

Those attending from luxury London hotel the 41 can expect to see films such as 'Dante 01' and zombie sci-fi film 'Wasting Away'.
