Radical Light: Italy's Divisionist Painters 1891 - 1910

Event: Radical Light: Italy's Divisionist Painters 1891 - 1910
Date: June 18th until September 7th 2008

Those with an interest in the "complex" relationship between Italian Divisionism and the emerging Futurist movement in the early years of the 20th century should visit Radical Light: Italy's Divisionist Painters 1891 - 1910 at the National Gallery this spring.

Visitors from luxury London hotel the 41 can see a selection of art works from this period at the gallery from June 18th until September 7th 2008.

And the exhibition may not only be of interest to guests of luxury London hotel the 41 who are familiar with these artistic movements, according to gallery director Nicholas Penny.

LondonTown reports that Mr Penny said: "I think that a major gallery should be prepared to introduce people to something they know nothing about."

Divisionism, the gallery argues, is one of the most significant art movements to emerge out of Italy toward the end of the 19th century.

This exhibition is set to feature 60 paintings, including works by Vittore Grubicy de Dragon, Giovanni Segantini and Gaetano Previati.
