Prince Igor opera returns to London

Opera fanatics should not miss this rare opportunity to witness the Russian opera Prince Igor, which will be taking up residency at the London Coliseum for a limited time only this spring.

Running from April 1st until the 5th at the classic venue, the performance will be staged in its complete form and will include the much-admired Polovtsian Dances routine that is only occasionally incorporated into the live shows.

Famously left unfinished upon the death of writer Alexander Borodin, the story was completed by his contemporaries Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Alexander Glazunov, who first staged it to great acclaim in 1890.

This faithful recreation for the London stage is certain to delight all opera enthusiasts. For convenient access to the London Coliseum, book into 41 where you can enjoy a luxurious world-class service as well as beautiful accommodation.

If you can squeeze in a visit to the theatre as well, consider booking with the Wicked the Musical or Billy Elliot the Musical packages.
