The Southbank Centre has announced a new series of Comedy in the Dark gigs between April 22nd and July 1st 2013, providing a unique experience for comedy enthusiasts.

During each of these shows, a series of top stand-up comedians will entertain crowds in complete darkness, a bizarrely effective format that has proven a sell-out success at venues across the UK and Europe.

This year's line-up includes hilarious comedians such as Phil Nichol, Mark Olver, Joey Page, Iain Stirling, Paul Foot and Lloyd Langford, plus several as-yet unannounced special guests.

Performances will take place on April 22nd, May 6th, May 27th, June 3rd, June 17th and July 1st.

People wishing to attend one of these shows could book a stay at The 41 Hotel, which offers a range of appealing packages, such as the Get More From Your Stay deal.

Luxury London hotel guests will receive a full English breakfast each morning and a choice of additional perks, with options including a bottle of Laurent Perrier, a Champagne afternoon tea, a romantic turndown or a late checkout time.
