Category: Art & Culture Date: Thursday, 21 February 2013 The Southbank Centre will be hosting a special talk by the popular comedian and children's author David Walliams on February 21st 2013. Since becoming a household name with comedy shows such as Little Britain and Come Fly With Me, Walliams has gone on to enjoy a successful side career as the writer of hilarious kids' books, including his latest work Ratburger, which became a number one seller last year. Fans of the witty Brit will be able to hear him talk about this latest story, which tells the story of a disadvantaged but plucky young girl called Zoe and her tangles with the evil Burt, a burger vendor whose street food hides a gruesome secret. Tickets to the talk are available for £8 for adults and £4 for children. Luxury London hotel guests who are planning to attend the event can take advantage of the Kids Go Free deal, which is ideal for parents and their book-loving youngsters. With this offer, children under the age of 12 can stay and eat for free when sharing a room with their mums and dads, while they can also access free in-room movies and games consoles.
