Kensington Symphony Orchestra at the Southbank Centre

Some of the most famous pieces of music in movie history will be performed live by the Kensington Symphony Orchestra at the Southbank Centre on January 21st 2013.

Described by Classical Music magazine as one of the UK's top amateur orchestras, the musical outfit will be paying tribute to the works of composers such as John Williams, Max Steiner, Leonard Bernstein and Jonny Greenwood.

The concert will include score excerpts from Gone with the Wind, There Will Be Blood, On the Waterfront and Star Wars, as well as a performance of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.

Tickets are available online from between £12 and £20, plus a booking fee of £1.75 for non-members.
